Gregg’s Top 10 Club Highlights
1) Our Rotary Club was awarded a 2001-2002 Rotary International Presidential Citation recognizing our “exemplary efforts in Membership Development, Rotary’s Public Image, Rotary Education/Training and Club Development”
2) 5 members of our Club invested considerable time to help establish the new Wellington South Rotary Club. Our Club also provided $2,000 in financial support. We held 2 Joint Rotary Meetings with the new Club and 16 of our members and their guests participated in the Wellington South Club’s First Anniversary Celebration Party.
3) Our Club raised $10,000 for the Guelph Hospitals through the sale of tickets for a Harley-Davidson.
4) Our membership increased by 7 new members to reach 61. As a result, our Club became the 8th largest Rotary Club in our District.
5) 20% of our Club Members achieved 100% attendance.
6) 50 Club Members and their guests participated in a fellowship barbeque at the President’s home.
7) Over 25% of our Club Members attended President Richard King’s District membership seminar in Toronto. 5 NEW Club Members participated in Mr. King’s induction ceremony. This was the largest number of new members from an existing Club to participate in the Toronto induction ceremony.
8) Our Membership Committee developed a formal program to improve “New Member Education, Orientation and Mentoring”.
9) 12 of our weekly meetings included Vocational Classification presentations from our Club Members
10) Ten of our Club Members’ children participated in our “Bring your Kids to Rotary” meeting and 60 parents & children attended our Christmas Party.
