“In 2018, the four Rotary Clubs in Guelph jointly started a small pilot project to provide weekend food bags for local children in families struggling to make ends meet. Since then, the project has grown into the Food4Kids Guelph registered charity that now supports over 325 children every week at 27 elementary schools. In 2021, the Rotary Club of Guelph Wellington raised over $26,000 for Food4Kids Guelph through their annual Duck Race, covering the charity’s costs for a full month!" Terrie Jarvis, Food4Kids Guelph
"The local Rotary clubs are such great supporters of Guelph General Hospital and we are so grateful. We’ve partnered with the Rotary Clubs of Guelph South and Guelph Trillium to bring Tour de Guelph to our community. It began in 2014 and in addition to being a fabulous community-building event, we have raised more than $720,000, 75% for GGH and 25% for local Rotary projects. The Rotary Club of Guelph supported the creation of a Medial Education Centre to support medical students at GGH.
